About Us
Concilio CDS Inc. is a private Not-for-Profit Community Based 501(c)organization serving New Mexico, Eastern Arizona, West Texas and the Texas-Mexico Border community. We have been in existence since 1972.
Service history in addressing: Senior issues, health issues, social justice, social services, and have incorporated intergenerational civic engagement.
Our Mission: to eliminate poverty through the provision of intergenerational civic engagement opportunities and to serve our community with passion and commitment.

civic engagement
Civic Engagement is where community members are engaged in helping others. Participants can then be part of a community for when they need help themselves.
Americorps Legacy
The Legacy Corps is a national direct AmeriCorps project. Members provide respite care to individuals who are care taking for a family member. This is a one year term.
INTERgenerational
Inviting community residents to do what they love and what their skills enable.
health promotion
Services consist of on-going community outreach education and is a component throughout all of the Concilio CDS Inc. initiatives.
arts engagement
Art projects –engaging elementary – high school students in combining arts with health promotion through intergenerational activities in order to create prevention health messages.
